My aunt passed away

Today, we bid farewell to a loved one, A shining light, whose life is now done. Your mom, a dear sister to my mother, Their bond of love, like no other.

Through sickness and pain, she endured, Her husband's care, her heart secured. Together they built a life in Tirana, Their home a hotel, their kindness so grand.

Their doors were always open wide, Welcoming in all who came to abide. Their free dinners, a memory so bright, A beacon of hope, through the darkest of night.

My aunt's sorrow, a son lost to time, A wound so deep, so hard to climb. But through it all, she remained strong, A mother's love, forever long.

On her husband's 90th birthday, My aunt closed her eyes, passed away. But her spirit lives on, forever bright, Her love and kindness, an endless light.

Today, we lay her down to rest, Our memories of her, forever blessed. With soil and flowers, our love we send, To a dear aunt, a beloved friend.

Rest in peace, dear aunt, your journey's done, Your spirit shines on, like the rising sun. In our hearts, your memory will always stay, A guiding light, through life's winding way.
