In love again

As winter comes and chills my bones, I long for love that warms my soul. Poetry helps to ease my pain, But being in love, I need again.

In our society so full of strife, A kind of love can bring new life. It's loving the ordinary things, That make each day like angel wings.

As winter comes and chills my bones, I long for love that warms my soul. Poetry helps to ease my pain, But being in love, I need again.

In our society so full of strife, A kind of love can bring new life. It's loving the ordinary things, That make each day like angel wings.

Recent discoveries may seem grand, But they don't bring true joy on demand. Wisdom is found in simple charms, Like holding hands or sharing arms.

A bouquet of flowers for the sick, An open door, a warm smile, so quick. Plain fish and fries, a burger too, These ordinary things can bring new views.

Lazing in a garden chair, Gazing at the sky, without a care. A handshake, a grin, a church's peace, These ordinary things, make our hearts increase.

A child's drawing, an opening bud, The chirping of a bird, it sounds like love. A row of poplars, a stream, a cow, These ordinary things, can make us go "wow".

Life becomes a feast, you'll find, If you can enjoy the simple things in kind. It's Spring, and I'm in love again, With all the ordinary things, my heart will gain.

Don't forget, each day is yours to take, An eternity to be happy, to make no mistake. So cherish the ordinary, everyday, And love them more, in every way.
