9.Adjectives ending with –ly (mbiemrat qe mbarojne me –ly)
Incorrect(gabim): She smiled friendly.
Correct(sakte): She smiled in a friendly way.
Incorrect (gabim): He laughed silly
Correct(sakte): He gave a silly laugh
Here the errors lies in using an adjective instead of an adverb.we use adverbs to modify verbs.most adverbs end in – ly: there are also a few adjectives that end in –ly.
examples are :costly, friendly, lively, lonely lovely, silly and ugly.there are no adverbs costly/costily or friendly/friendlily
(ketu gabimi eshte perdorimi I nje mbiemri ne vend te nje ndajfolje ne perdorim ndajfoljet te modifikojme foljet ndajfoljet e shumta mbarojne me –ly jane dhe disa mbiemra qe mbarojne me ly shembujt jane costly friendly lively lonely lovey silly ugly.nuk ka ndajfolje si costly/costlily ose friendly/friendlily.)
