      Interjections                       Pasthirrmat

An interjection is a word or phrase that is grammatically independent from the words around it, and is mainly used to show strong emotion, feeling, surprise, or excitement rather than meaning. Interjections can show triumph (hurray), happinedd (yippee), anger (domn), disgust (ugh), surprise (aha), astonishment (wow), hesitation (uh, um), or any other emotion.
Nje pasthirrme eshte nje fjale ose nje shprehje e cila eshte gramatikisht e pavarur nga fjalet perreth saj, dhe perdoret per te treguar emocione te forta, ndjesi, surprizim, ose entuziazm me shume sesa kuptim. Pasthirrmat mund te tregojne triumfin (hurray), lumturi (yippee), zemerim (domn), jo pelqim (uhg), surprizim (aha), habi (wow), hezitim (uh, um) ose emocione te tjera.

Bingo! That´s the one I´ve been looking for.               Bingo! Ajo eshte cfare po kerkoja.
I got an A on my math final. Booyah!                           Une morra nje A ne testin final te matematikes. Boojah!
Ewwww! I just stepped on dog poop.                          Ewwww! Sapo shkela ne kuverten e qenit.
For God´s sake, whatever you do, don´t look down.  Per hir te zotit, cfaredo te besh, mos shiko poshte.
Holy cow! That car almost ran into us!                          Lope e shenjte! Ajo makine gati erdhi drejt nesh!
The Britney Spears´ commercial? Ooh la la!                 Reklamat e Shtizave te Britnit? Ooh la la!
Wait a minute!                                                                   Prit nje minute!


Look!                                                                                     Shiko!
