Give happiness a chance

 Love is like the sun

For a lot of people,

The sun is the most ordinary thing in the world.

Yet it works a wonder every day.

It lights up the world for me.

It fights against the clouds to see me

And to give me a beautiful day.

At night, it goes to the other side of the earth

To give its light to the people there.

If I snuff out the sun,

I am in the blackest darkness

And in the iciest cold.

That’s what it’s like with love.

If love rises in my life,

Then it brings light and warmth.

If I have love,

I can do without many things.

But, if love goes down in my life,

The shadow grows even longer,

And I move quietly into the night and the cold.

Love is like the sun.

Anyone who has love, can do without many things.

Anyone who lacks love, lacks everything.
