fjali + though 

1. lidhëza – conjuction 

   
   

Të dyja këto fjalë që përkthehen ‘megjithëse’ , ‘sadoqë’ mund të përdoren si lidhëza me të njëjtin kuptim. Në gjuhën informale (të përditshme) është më e përdorshme though. 

• (Al)though the government refuses to admit it, its economic policy is in ruins. 
• (Al)though I don’t agree with him, I think he’s honest. 

• I’d quite like to go out, (al)though it is a bit late. 
  
  

Even though – ‘megjithëse’ , ‘pavarësisht’ , përdoret për të emfatizuar një kontrast. Even although nuk mund të përdoret për këtë qëllim. 

• Even though I didn’t understand a word, I kept smiling. 

2. though e përdorur si ndajfolje 

   
   

Though mund të përdoret si ndajfolje me kuptimin ‘however’ – ‘megjithatë’ , ‘megjithkëtë’ , ‘sado’. 

• 
  
  ‘Nice day.’  ‘Yes. Bit cold, though.’ 
• The strongest argument, though, is economic and not political.
