Perdorimi i nyjes shquese the:
➢ Kur flasim per sende, qofshin keto abstrakte ose konkrete, por me kuptim tepergjithshem dhe ne numrin shumes, ne anglisht nyja shquese the hiqet.
She likes ice-creams.  Asaj i pelqejne akulloret.
Ne fjali te tilla do kemi keto ndertime:
She does not like the ice-creams  you have here.
Ajo nuk i pelqen akulloret qe keni ketu.
Shenim:
➢ Nuk duhet te ngaterrojme perdorimin e perditshem ne gjuhen shqipe kur themi: nje uje, dy caj etj, me te cilat ne te vertete duam te themi nje gote me uje( a glass of water), dy filxhan me caj( two cups of tea). Per shembull:
The beer wasn’t good. Birra nuk ishte e mire.
( kuptimi i percaktuar: pra birra per te cilen flitet, ose per te cilen eshte folur, pra eshte pikerisht ajo birre.
I do not like salt. Mua nuk me pelqen kripa.
( kuptimi i pergjithshem: pra  nuk mund te themi nje kripe, dy kripe per te treguar pjese kripe).
Do you like orange juice? A te pelqen lengu i portokallit?
( Kuptimi i pergjithshem: lengu qe pihet, dhe jo nje gote me leng portokalli e percaktuar).
Peremra te pacaktuar:
➢ Ne shqip ne themi disa, pak, ne cike, ca etj, kurse ne anglisht perdoret peremri some.
Give me some cheese, please. Me jep pak djathe te lutem.
➢ Peremri i pacaktuar some perdoret kur ideja e sasise se percaktuar nenkuptohet qarte edhe ne shqip, si p.sh.: Me jep pak buke, pra emri merr kuptimin e nje sasie te percaktuar.
➢ Ne fjalite mohore dhe pyetese qe shprehin dyshim  ne vend te peremrit some perdoret peremri any si p.sh:
There isn’t any milk. Nuk ka qumesht.
Is there any milk?  A ka pak qumesht?
➢ Ne ne shqip perdorim  peremrin ndonje, ne anglisht , ne fjalite pohore perdoret peremri some, ndersa ne fjalite mohore dhe pyetese perdoret anyP.sh.:
I have some kites.  Une kam disa balona.
Have you any kites? A keni ndonje balone?
I haven’t any kitesUne nuk kam ndonje balone.
➢ Por keto nuk perdoren kur ndiqen nga nje numeror ose nga nje ndajfolje sasie, si p.sh:
Have you any kites? A keni ndonje balone?
Yes, I have three.   Po, kam tre.
No, I haven’t anyJo, nuk kam ndonje.
Don’t speak about it. Mos fol per te.
Bashkebisedim:
Kate: I want some butter and some cheese, please.
1st Assistant: Certainly, miss.
Kate: And have you any bacon?
1st Assistant: Yes, miss. Here it is.
Kate: H’m. The bacon’s rather fat. Give me some ham instead, please.
1st Assistant. Yes, miss.
Kate: Now, I need some paper and some ink. Yes, that paper looks very nice. And cotton: have you any cotton?
2nd   Assistant: Oh, that’s at the other end of the shop, miss.
Peter: Kate are you coming? I want to buy my tyre. We’re late for lunch.
Kate: Don’t be impatient, Peter. I want to buy some tobacco for father, and some sweets for mother. You go and buy your tyre, and come back here for me. Goodbye…Now, I need some-wait! I haven’t any money? Lend me a pound or two.
Peter: Here’s one pound. I haven’t two. I need my money for the tyre. Now, Kate, come on! Do you want to stay here all day? I’m sure the soup is cold and the meat is burnt.
