May you?

May you?

Hello Pearson, can you help me with a little bit of English grammar?? I’ve been asked by a French person if one would ever say “May you help me”. rather than “can you help me” ?? Would appreciate your input.

May I is used for asking permission and is an older alternative to Can I in this context. So May I get some help? would be possible.

May you is used for giving good wishes. May you live a happy life.
