Borrow do të thotë ‘huazoj’ , ‘marr hua’. 

• Can I borrow your bicycle? (JO: Can I lend you your bicycle?) 

• I borrowed a euro from my brother. (JO: I borrowed my brother a euro.) 

 

Lend (US gjithashtu loan) do të thotë ‘jap hua’. 

• I lent my coat to Steve, and I never saw it again. 

• Lend me your comb for a minute, will you? (JO: Borrow me your…)
