Rrethanorët e probabilitetit 

 

We use adverbials of probability to show how certain we are about something. The commonest adverbials of probability are: 

Ne përdorim rrethanorët  e probabilitetit për të treguar se sa të sigurt jemi ne rreth diçkaje. Rrethanorët e probabilitetit me të zakonshëm janë: 

 

certainly	definitely	maybe	possibly
clearly	obviously	perhaps	probably

 

 

Choose the adverb which has a different meaning from the other two. 

Zgjidhni ndajfoljen e cila ka kuptim të ndryshëm nga dy të tjerat. 

 

• certainly

• definitely 

 

• perhaps 

• clearly 

• obviously 

 

• maybe 

• possibly 

• probably

maybe and perhaps usually come at the beginning of the clause: 

Këto fjalë me kuptimin ndoshta zakonisht vijnë në fillim të klauzolës: 

• Perhaps the weather will be fine. 

• Maybe it won't rain. 

 

Other adverbs of possibility usually come in front of the main verb: 

Ndajfolje të tjera të mundësisë zakonisht vijnë përpara foljes kryesore: 

• He is certainly coming to the party. 

• Will they definitely be there? 

• We will possibly come to England next year. 

 

or after the present simple or past simple of be:  

apo pas kohës së tashme apo të kryer të thjeshtë të foljes jam: 

• They are definitely at home. 

• She was obviously very surprised. 

 

But these adverbs sometimes come at the beginning of a clause for emphasis: 

Por këto ndajfolje zakonisht vijnë në fillim të një klauzole për t’u theksuar: 

• Obviously she was very surprised. 

• Possibly we will come to England next year.
