1. lidhëza – conjuction 

   
   

Të dyja këto fjalë që përkthehen ‘megjithëse’ , ‘sadoqë’ mund të përdoren si lidhëza me të njëjtin kuptim. Në gjuhën informale (të përditshme) është më e përdorshme though. 

• (Al)though the government refuses to admit it, its economic policy is in ruins. 
• (Al)though I don’t agree with him, I think he’s honest.

Even though – ‘megjithëse’ , ‘pavarësisht’ , përdoret për të emfatizuar një kontrast. Even although nuk mund të përdoret për këtë qëllim.
