  arise dhe rise 

Arise do të thotë ‘fillon’ , ‘paraqitet’ , ‘lind’ , ‘del’ , ‘vihet re’. Kryefjalët në fjalitë me arise janë kryesisht emra abstraktë. 

• A discussion arose about the best way to pay. 
• I’m afraid a difficulty has arisen. 
  
  

Rise zakonisht ka kuptimin ‘rritet’ , ‘ngrihet’ , ‘hipën’ , ‘lind. 

• Prices keep rising. 
• What time does the sun rise? 
• My hopes are rising. 
  
  

Vini re që zakonisht për të thënë njerëzit ‘cohen në mëngjes’ themi ‘get up in the morning’. 

Rise përdoret me këtë kuptim vetëm në të folurën tepër formale. Arise dhe rise janë folje të parregullta. 

(a)rise – (a)rose – (a)risen 

Pills! 

For the smallest pain, a painkiller. 

Every night a sleeping pill. 

And for gloomy thoughts 

A couple of Valium to cheer you up. 

You are hopelessly spoiled. 

You turn everything into a problem. 

The slightest difficulty  

And your nerves go to pieces. 

Problems have to be tackled. 

The problems that you evade 

Will start to fester. 

Yet ,there are a whole heap of problems 

which are just part of life- 

in marriage, 

in education, inn growing up, 

in getting on with people, 

 at work. 

These are problems which you have to accept. 

You have to go through them 

Without  hesitation, 

With courage and ith strength. 

If you run away from them 

They will follow you and weigh you down. 

In your life you can’t ignore your cross 

Without being crushed by it
